Insurance Meets Tech (IMT)—West Africa’s leading platform at the intersection of insurance and technology—has announced the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN) as the Official Institutional Partner for the upcoming IMT 4.0 Conference, scheduled for Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Balmoral Hall, Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos.
This landmark partnership represents a major step forward for Nigeria’s insurance industry, bringing together CIIN’s long-standing commitment to professional excellence with IMT’s innovation-driven agenda and its focus on youth-oriented financial literacy.
The IMT platform was created to bridge the divide between traditional insurance models and emerging digital-first approaches. The annual conference convenes key stakeholders—including regulators, underwriters, brokers, and tech innovators—for conversations aimed at reimagining the future of insurance across Africa.
CIIN President and Council Chairperson, Mrs. Yetunde Ilori, expressed her support for IMT’s mission and highlighted the alignment between both organizations.
“Insurance Meets Tech has consistently demonstrated that innovation and relevance go hand in hand,” she said. “Our mission of advancing insurance education, professional standards, and ethical practice aligns seamlessly with IMT’s goal of leveraging technology to drive insurance penetration, particularly among younger, digitally-savvy Nigerians.”
She added that the institute’s partnership with IMT for the 2025 edition underscores its commitment to fostering collaboration, promoting knowledge exchange, and championing the kind of innovation that will shape the future of Nigeria’s insurance landscape.
“As the Official Institutional Partner, we are reaffirming our dedication to building a modern, inclusive, and resilient insurance industry that can thrive in a fast-evolving digital economy,” Ilori concluded.
