Abuja – President Bola Tinubu has congratulated former senator and insurance industry veteran Yinka Omilani on his 90th birthday, describing him as a distinguished statesman, entrepreneur and philanthropist whose lifetime of service has left a lasting impact on Nigeria.
In a statement issued by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu praised the Osun State-born insurance mogul for his contributions to business, public service and humanitarian causes.
The President said Omilani’s nine decades of life reflect God’s grace, steadfast faith and a commitment to purposeful living.
He commended the former senator’s investments in education, healthcare, youth empowerment and other charitable initiatives, noting that his philanthropic efforts have positively affected many lives and strengthened communities across the country.
Tinubu also prayed for continued good health and strength for the elder statesman, expressing hope that he would remain committed to serving humanity.
In a separate goodwill message, the President congratulated former Lagos State lawmaker Segun Olulade on his 55th birthday, recognising his contributions to grassroots politics, youth development and public service.
Olulade, who currently serves as Executive Director of Customer Centricity and Marketing at Galaxy Backbone Limited, was described as a dedicated public servant whose career has been defined by community development and service to society.
Tinubu acknowledged Olulade’s work in expanding economic opportunities, supporting youth empowerment initiatives and promoting environmental sustainability, particularly through his activities in Lagos State.
The President also praised the interventions of the Eleniyancares Leadership Foundation in education, healthcare, environmental protection and youth development, describing the initiatives as impactful and beneficial to many Nigerians.
He wished Olulade continued good health, wisdom and strength, expressing confidence that he would continue to provide purposeful leadership and contribute to national development in the years ahead.
