Prudential Zenith Life Insurance has congratulated the Nigeria Insurers Association (NIA) following the emergence of Ebelechukwu Nwachukwu as the association’s first female chair, describing the development as a significant milestone for Nigeria’s insurance industry.
Nwachukwu was formally invested during a ceremony in Lagos, where industry stakeholders celebrated her leadership and contributions to the growth of the insurance sector. Her appointment marks the first time a woman has led the association since its establishment 55 years ago.
Speaking on the company’s support for the event as a gold sponsor, Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer of Prudential Zenith Life Insurance, Afolabi Lawal, said Nwachukwu’s appointment reflects progress in promoting inclusive leadership and gender diversity within the industry.
