AXA Mansard Plc has projected a profit after tax of ₦13.19 billion for the fourth quarter of the 2025 financial year, according to a regulatory disclosure filed with the Nigerian Exchange on Monday.
The profit forecast sparked increased trading activity in the company’s stock, pushing its share price up to ₦15.82. A total of 1.77 million shares were exchanged, valued at ₦28.25 million.
With the price rally, AXA Mansard’s market capitalisation rose to ₦142.38 billion, based on its 9 billion outstanding shares.
For the final quarter of 2025, the insurer expects to generate ₦159.35 billion in insurance revenue. After deducting direct insurance expenses and reinsurance costs, the insurance service result is estimated at ₦19.27 billion.
The company also projects net investment and other income of ₦18.96 billion, while operating expenses are expected to reach ₦21.71 billion.
Following a tax expense of ₦2.33 billion, AXA Mansard anticipates closing the quarter with net earnings of ₦13.19 billion.
