Lagos, Nigeria – June 5, 2025 – Coronation Insurance Plc and Coronation Life Assurance Limited proudly welcomed members of the Actuarial & Insurance Club from the University of Lagos (UNILAG) to their corporate office in Lagos, marking a significant moment of industry-academic engagement and youth empowerment.
The visit, held as part of Coronation’s commitment to nurturing future talent and deepening awareness about the dynamic world of insurance, featured a series of engaging sessions designed to inspire, inform, and ignite career aspirations among the students.
Welcoming the students, Mr. Adebowale Adesona, Managing Director of Coronation Life Assurance Limited, delivered an inspiring keynote address titled “Building a Career in Insurance and Actuarial Science.”

The students were treated to a rare behind-the-scenes experience through interactive sessions with Coronation professionals who shared authentic insights into their roles, including “A Day in the Life of an Actuary,” Underwriter, and Insurance Risk Manager. The sessions provided a practical lens into the profession and encouraged open conversations about the challenges and rewards of a career in insurance.
