Heirs Insurance Group, one of Nigeria’s fastest-growing insurance companies, has unveiled the Heirs Insurance Retirement Dream Competition, an initiative designed to help retirees and soon-to-be retirees turn their long-held aspirations into reality.
The nationwide contest offers a total prize pool of ₦5 million to senior citizens aged 50 to 75, either retired or approaching retirement, who have previously worked in paid employment. Participants are invited to share their retirement dreams for a chance to win one of three grants: ₦2.5 million for the top winner, ₦1.5 million for the first runner-up, and ₦1 million for the second runner-up.
To enter, applicants must submit a one-minute video describing a dream or goal that would help them live a more fulfilling retirement.
The competition is part of the newly launched Heirs Insurance Retirees Club, a community for retirees to connect, access expert advice on health and financial well-being, and enhance their quality of life after leaving the workforce. Both the club and the competition reflect Heirs Insurance Group’s mission to improve lives, promote financial inclusion, and make insurance more accessible to Nigerians.
Winners will be announced in October 2025.
