Coronation Insurance Plc and Coronation Life Assurance Limited have launched the first raffle draw of their nationwide “Insure and Win Promo 2.0,” a loyalty-driven campaign aimed at rewarding policyholders and deepening insurance adoption.
The live-streamed event, held in Lagos, saw customers win prizes including generators, refrigerators, and shopping vouchers, marking a key milestone since the initiative’s launch in November 2025.
According to the company, the campaign builds on the success of its maiden edition, which attracted over 20,000 entries, and is designed to strengthen customer engagement while promoting insurance uptake.
To ensure transparency, the draw was conducted using a digital raffle system under the supervision of regulators, including the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission and the Lagos State Lotteries and Gaming Authority.
Winners emerged across multiple prize categories, with top rewards including cash vouchers, home appliances, and a generator, while a grand prize vehicle is scheduled for the final draw in the coming months.
The initiative comes amid increased regulatory scrutiny of promotional campaigns, with authorities seeking to protect consumers and ensure fairness in reward-based marketing.
Analysts say the programme reflects a broader strategy to tackle Nigeria’s low insurance penetration by incentivising participation and rebuilding public trust through transparency and regulatory oversight.
