The Nigerian Agricultural Insurance Corporation (NAIC) and Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing (IVM) are set to collaborate on innovative strategies to enhance mobility within Nigeria’s agricultural sector.
This development follows a strategic visit by the Innoson marketing team to NAIC’s headquarters in Abuja, where they were received by NAIC’s Managing Director, Honourable Yazeed Shehu Danfulani, along with other senior management officials.
During the high-level meeting, both organisations explored key areas where Innoson’s locally manufactured vehicles could support farmers and agribusinesses across the country. The discussions also centred on integrating tailored insurance solutions with mobility services to drive increased productivity in the sector.
Honourable Danfulani emphasized the importance of fostering partnerships with indigenous manufacturers, highlighting that such collaborations are critical to strengthening Nigeria’s local industries and advancing the government’s local content development agenda.
Innoson’s team reaffirmed their commitment to providing durable, agriculture-focused vehicles capable of meeting the unique demands of rural operations.
Both NAIC and IVM expressed optimism that the emerging partnership would not only improve mobility for farmers but also contribute to broader economic growth and job creation.
Plans are currently underway to formalize the partnership through actionable initiatives in the months ahead.
