In a bid to drive insurance adoption at the grassroots level, Rex Insurance has commenced its flagship Retail Street Storm campaign, taking its products directly to residents and traders in Yaba and surrounding communities in Lagos.
The initiative, according to the company, is designed to demystify insurance, enhance public awareness, and promote wider policy adoption among everyday Nigerians.
Commenting on the campaign, the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Rex Insurance, Mrs. Ebelechukwu B. Nwachukwu, noted that the Retail Street Storm is part of the company’s broader strategy to simplify insurance and make it more accessible.
“Insurance is not just for big businesses or the elite; it is for everyone,” she said. “Through the Retail Street Storm, we are taking insurance directly to the streets—meeting people in the markets, on the roads, and within their communities—to demonstrate that insurance can be simple, affordable, and essential.”
She emphasized that retail business remains a core component of Rex Insurance’s operations, adding that the campaign underscores the company’s commitment to expanding access and reinforcing its presence within local communities.
