SanlamAllianz, the result of a merger between two leading global and African insurers, Allianz and Sanlam, has announced the launch of an unprecedented 12-city nationwide roadshow in Nigeria. The campaign, starting today, June 23, follows the brand’s recent official introduction to the Nigerian market and is part of its strategic effort to deepen customer engagement, raise insurance awareness, and reaffirm its commitment to making wealth creation and financial protection more accessible to individuals and businesses across the country.
The initiative will cover major commercial and regional hubs across Nigeria’s six geo-political zones, including Lagos, Ibadan, Akure, Warri, Port Harcourt, Uyo, Onitsha, Enugu, Owerri, Kano, Jos, and Abuja.
This marks one of the largest customer-focused campaigns ever undertaken in Nigeria’s insurance sector, underscoring SanlamAllianz’s dual strength as a Pan-African brand with deep local understanding.
Commenting on the initiative, the MD/CEO of SanlamAllianz Life Insurance, Tunde Mimiko, said: “This nationwide campaign reflects the scale of our ambition and the depth of our commitment to Nigeria. At the heart of insurance is trust, and trust starts with presence. Reaching customers where they are is central to how we are building SanlamAllianz.
“This roadshow is a strategic move to bridge the gap between perception and reality, allowing us to engage directly with our customers and the wider public, challenge long-held misconceptions about insurance, and position it as a practical tool for achieving financial resilience, stability, and long-term security.”
As part of the campaign, SanlamAllianz will host customer engagement forums in each of the 12 cities. These in-person sessions will provide customers an opportunity to interact directly with the company’s leadership and frontline teams. The forums are designed to help the brand reconnect with its customers, reaffirm its long-term commitment to Nigeria, and foster open conversations about insurance.
“Insurance becomes truly relevant when it is understood, trusted, and aligned with the realities people face. These forums are an avenue for us to reintroduce SanlamAllianz, not just as a merged entity, but as a united brand dedicated to showing up for Nigerians. We are creating platforms for genuine conversations, listening to customer concerns, addressing their needs, and deepening understanding. This is how SanlamAllianz aims to lead by actively listening, providing tailored solutions, and shaping a future where insurance becomes an integral part of everyday life for every Nigerian,” said Yomi Onifade, MD/CEO of SanlamAllianz General Insurance.
