If you’re planning to nominate or vote in the 2026 Almond Insurance Industry Awards, procrastination could cost you literally.
Organisers have issued a firm warning: nominations will close at exactly 11:59 PM on June 30, 2026, and there will be absolutely no extensions.
Speaking at a press conference in Lagos, CEO of Almond Productions Limited, Kesiena Faith Ughwode, made it clear that the era of last minute appeals is over.
According to her, past editions were plagued by a surge of late submissions and requests for deadline extensions an approach the organisers have now firmly rejected.
The entire nomination and voting process has been fully digitised, requiring all entries to be submitted through the official awards portal. This data-driven system is designed to enhance transparency, efficiency, and credibility.
Ughwode urged stakeholders across the insurance ecosystem to act early, emphasizing that waiting until the final hours could lead to missed opportunities.
Now in its fourth edition, the Almond Insurance Industry Awards continues to celebrate innovation, resilience, and excellence among professionals who are redefining Nigeria’s insurance sector.
The message is clear: if you want to be recognized, don’t wait act now or risk being left out.
