Insurance firm emPLE Nigeria has partnered with Ecobank Nigeria to promote financial literacy and insurance awareness among children through its “Protecting Little Dreams” initiative.
The programme is designed to support financial inclusion by educating young people on money management while encouraging families to embrace insurance as a tool for long-term financial security.
Managing Director of emPLE Life Assurance Limited, Jolaolu Fakoya, said the initiative aligns with the company’s goal of increasing insurance penetration by making insurance products easier to understand, more accessible and relevant to the everyday needs of Nigerians.
He noted that improving public understanding of insurance remains a key priority for the company as it seeks to expand awareness and encourage greater adoption of insurance services across the country.
Also speaking, Head of Bancassurance at emPLE Nigeria, Aderonke Smith, said the collaboration with Ecobank is aimed at helping parents take proactive steps toward securing their children’s future through financial education and accessible insurance solutions.
According to her, the initiative is built on the belief that financial security begins with deliberate planning and informed decision-making. She added that by combining financial literacy with insurance products, the partnership seeks to equip families with the knowledge and confidence needed to build long-term financial resilience.
As part of the campaign, participating families were enrolled in the emPLE Term Life Plan, providing financial protection for beneficiaries in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
