Heightened anticipation is building ahead of the 15th edition of the DOAM Foundation Charity Golf Tournament, scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the Golf Section of Ikoyi Club 1938.
Renowned for its high standards and engaging atmosphere, the annual tournament continues to attract a diverse mix of players, guests, and sponsors. Organisers have indicated that this year’s edition will deliver a memorable experience, featuring competitive play alongside an array of prizes and trophies for outstanding performers.
The DOAM Foundation confirmed that its network of sponsors and partners has expanded significantly, spanning sectors such as financial services, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), insurance, media, fintech, hospitality, and healthcare. This broad-based support underscores the growing appeal and impact of the tournament.
Leading sponsors include major institutions such as First Bank of Nigeria, Zenith Bank, Flour Mills of Nigeria, and Seven-Up Bottling Company, among others. Additional backing from corporate organisations and individual partners further reflects sustained confidence in the initiative.
Following the qualifying rounds held on April 3 and 4, approximately 160 players—including invited guests—are expected to compete in the final event.
According to the Foundation’s Media Liaison Officer, Bukunmi Osunsina, the organisation has impacted more than 98,000 lives since its inception, largely through the continued support of its partners and sponsors. The Foundation aims to extend its outreach further in 2026, leveraging proceeds and partnerships from the tournament.
In addition to the competition, the event will serve as an opportunity to recognise and appreciate longstanding sponsors and supporters who have contributed to the tournament’s success since its inaugural edition.
